THINGS TO DO IN PACIFIC CITY

& SURROUNDING AREAS

On the coast about 23 miles south of Tillamook & 20 miles north of Lincoln City. From Portland (2 hrs) take Hwy 26 to Hwy 6 or take Hwy 99W to Hwy 18. From Salem take Hwy 22.

Pacific City is a small town where you couldn’t lose yourself for very long. In the center is a blinking traffic light and a Shell gas station. We are 1 block east of this intersection on Pacific Ave .

BEACH

There is 3 miles of beautiful sand beach accessible at the end of Pacific Ave, at Bob Straub state park or at Cape Kiwanda. Those who enjoy a short walk can have a large expanse of beach to themselves. At Cape Kiwanda you will often see fishermen launching their dories (fishing boats) through the surf. It’s fun to watch but keep out of their way. Cape kiwanda is fun to climb and provides a great view. Do not ignore the warnings and climb the cliffs, they can be crumbly! Cape Kiwanda is a great place to surf. If relaxing is more of what you are a looking for grab a spot, sit back relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. Don't miss the tidepools at low tide.

FISHING & BOATING

The Nestucca river flows through town and is a very popular fishing river. You can fish from the bank in many places or use one of the 3 public boat launches. We have partnered with the following Dory Captains to offer a 15% discounted stay when you reserve a seat on their boat and a stay with us. Once you have made a reservation with one of them, they will provide you with a discount code to use when reserving a room with us.
